Inspection question.
06 GT
So I put long tubes on my car a while back along with an off-road h pipe. I was given a tune by Brenspeed that the guy assured me would fake out the computer to not throw a check engine light. Everything was fine, but i got to thinking, would this also allow me to pass inspection when the computer scans my car. I checked tonight at work and all three of my cat related readiness codes were incomplete. So even though i can inspect the car myself, it still will not pass since the computer scan my car's computer and those readiness codes are not set.
If i got a catted h-pipe, would those readiness codes set? I have heard that with long tubes, the sensors or cat don't get enough heat and therefor still sometimes set and a check engine light.
Anyone out there who has long tubes, how do you get your car inspected?
