If your car is running good then its gotta be a faulty dyno. Have you checked your intake to make sure its on correctly just to be sure. Check for any possible holes too.

Please get your tune checked. Those A/F ratios, if accurate, will result in a blown motor sooner rather than later. Hopefully it's just a bad dyno, but play it safe.

So evidently the shop that did the dyno was NOT the shop that did the tune?
Sure wish you could find out who tuned the car.

With those numbers my guess is it was done by Sloth from "The Goonies".

LOL...OP since it runs "great" I'd say 90% dyno issues...I have a 09 GT/CS and yes, those numbers suck...Like previously mentioned, be carefull of that 10% (tuning issue) and drive real nice, if at all...Since it has the stock airbox, pull the plugs, clean the TB and make sure everything else looks stock (and in good shape) under the hood...Then either have ford reflash it back to a stock tune or call Bren/Bama and get yourself a new SCT with their tunes...

Something is wrong with those numbers.... Check to make sure everything to do with the intake is tightened down and connected correctly......

Yeah, it definitely runs great. I haven't really driven the car since getting these results. But pre-testing, I was driving as normal. That's also what's super weird. The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking that the dyno was faulty.

According to the printout, as it leans out, I'm losing considerable power starting at about 3800 rpm. However, when I was enjoying some spirited driving, the car would pull hard at above 3500 and didn't stop until close to redline. It WAS great. Definitely not going to drive like that until I get this sorted out though.

I'm going to take everyone's advice though and check the stock airbox, pull the plugs, clean the tb and check all connections. I peeked around under the hood a little last night, but it was too dark to really do anything. Visually, everything looks great under there. But then again, looks can be deceiving.

I'm still trying to find another dyno shop in town, for testing only, so if anyone knows of any in Vegas, I'd welcome the suggestions!

Thanks again everyone!

bottom line i think is that cant be how the car actually is. the people doing the dyno have to be clueless. I would find another good shop, maybe start a thread in the regional section of the board looking for a dyno near you that other people trust. Get another couple pulls done for comparison and go from there

I don't have any dyno numbers but:

I bought my '07 from a Ford dealership, certified used car, great warranty to 70,000 miles, it ran good, had Ford Racing Exhaust (Borla), etc... Took it to the drag strip the 2nd week I had it, was extremely disappointed, 14.9 @89MPH was the best run, yes I know how to drive (for those who may say need a "driver mod", have been drag racing Mustangs since '90 off and on). I could feel the power loss at around 5000 RPM. Ordered a JLT + Tunes from Bama, back to drag strip 3 weeks later, best time was 14.02 @98MPH, 14.2 run about an hour earlier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKjqO7KOLkU Yes I realize air can make a difference, but not usually almost a full second, it was hotter and more humid the 2nd time anyway, the car completely changed, pulled to at least 6,000RPM.

This made me wonder if there wasn't a left over tune on the car when I got it, I know from reading the difference a tune + CAI, it just seemed fishy how sluggish the car was before.

I guess I am hoping that if the dyno isn't faulty that you have a "left over" tune and your car wakes up with a new tune. I would definitely recommend the JLT + tunes from Bama Custom Tuning @ AM!

To be honest, ( and I could be wrong ) but that a/f line looks like a canned tune from a SCT Xcal 3 running super lean.

Ask me how I know. lol I did same thing as you except I had bought my Xcal and uploaded the canned tune, had a dyno pull ( my numbers were higher but I had quite a few more mods as well ) and tuner took one look at that and told me it was only a matter of time, not a matter of if something happened.

I fixed that by getting a email tune from the now defunct Bamachips ( prior to merge with AM ) which was fine then later after cams got a dyno tune at Brenspeed.

Let me see if I can find where I saved that original dyno sheet I had...

Were they in the correct gear?

I suspect operator error with the car. computer or dyno at the shop.

A motor running that lean and that low on power would be acting strangely on the road too.
