Default How to wax your car in double the time

I see this sticky from armorall on their new butter wax...Tried it on a 2011 black camaro (the test car before anything hits the GTCS) this weekend...Very difficult and definatly not butter...Applied after a wash in a climate controlled garage, it almost seem to "stick" to the paint requiring very extensive arm strength to get it off/make the paint clear...Though I had the same problem with NXT 2.0 as well...Is there a good wax for black cars out there (NOT turtle wax black box...wtf is that s**t? Black wax you have to wear gloves to apply? I put a pencil eraser on my finger tip to smell, love the smell of wax, and it stained for a week plus!) I use wet obsession on the vapor GTCS with excellent results (though the can says over 30 apps, I MAY get two out of it...Going down that road this weekend)...Any help?

guess I could have put this in the detailing section...mods please move if u c fit

I don't know if anyone else has used Turtle Wax Ice synthetic wax but I like it, use it a couple of times a year and it seems to do the trick. I'm afraid to hit my car with a buffer being I have never used one so I haven't used a real "wax" on it.

You used a rotary buffer and it still stuck like glue?

I tried the butter wax myself and was not impressed, but then again I wasn't expecting to be.

no buffer used, don't believe that a buffer would give any advantages in the dept. I care about, finish/quality...Time is just well spent with the ride...

I use Griotts purple non-liquid wax. Smells like grapes and it works great .

You've never used extensive arm strength while using an Orbital Buffer?

I use turtle wax express shine, It's a spray on. Wash the car rinse and before I wipe off the water I spray on the wax, I wipe the car just like I would without the wax. It works good and last for a couple washes. The only thing, you have to take a damp cloth to get those dried wax spots, but to wash and wax the car only takes about a minute or to longer than without wax.
I am basically a lazy person and would rather be driving the car than waxing the car, but that's just me.
