Default rear seat deletes worth it?

Already took out the dual 10 inch subs and amps(Shaker1000) from the truck and planning on the spare/jack (for track days) so I say I took off about a good 90 lbs. or so.

Anyone have any experience with rear seat delete kits from American Muscle?

I read that the holes don't exactly line up and the push pins suck.

Looking to shave off some additional weight for better ETs...

That seat delete actually adds weight back obviously after removing the rear seat... But if you just want to shed weight for the track why don't you just remove them on a track day? They aren't hard at all to get in and out...

I believe the net difference with the delete kit is you will actually be about 15-20 lbs lighter.

If you want a clean appearance for your interior when you remove the rear seats or just a way to not have to give the neighbors a ride in your Stang, the deletes are a great choice and I would highly recommend them.

As for fitment, we sell hundreds of these kits with no issues and I do not foresee you having a problem with them, either. They are made specifically for your model year and should fit like a glove.

I hope this helps, please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions in the future!

And what if you pick up a few girls? Of course, you will definitely want the rear seats!

I've been quite lucky with the passenger seat and the Ladies in the past...
The headliner, not so much though... Unless you undo the high heels first.

ROLF!

Yeah, chicks in shoes don't do it for me, LOL

As for having the back seat, I was actually referring to picking up more than one girl at a time!

I got that.
The one in the back can watch and learn while you work the leather of the passenger side.
