Default ? on Headers

Getting ready to put LT headers and shorty cross pipe on my 05 Mustang GT. I have yet to purchase yet but am looking at Pypes, BBK, and JBA. They are within 100 dollars of eachother basically. Does one install easier or fit better then the others etc.

Just trying to do this right once and not have fitment issues.

Thanks

While I understand the idea of looking for a good deal, your best bet with long tubes is to pay the premium for a quality product because you get what you pay for, and since it is a difficult part to install you don't want to do it twice. I highly recommend American Racing Headers, Ford chose them as the best headers on the market for the Cobra Jet, and now Mopar is using them for their track pack cars as well. Hands down best quality and fitment on the market.

I agree, quality is always best in the long run vs short time budget issues. I also agree that American Racing headers are THE best. They're made of 304SS 100% made in use from tubes, flanges, catalyst materials bolts, they also are the only full length LT's everyone else is 3/4 length

Brenspeed told me they use Pypes on their race cars. I did not want to spend huge money on headers, so I went with Pypes. They fit perfectly. No fitment issues at all. I have had them on the car for 15 months and they are as good as new. I race my car every month, 8 to 10 runs. No regrets here.

Pypes for sure. Great price, good quality and good fit.

I'm awaiting a package from A.M. - one thing inside is a set of Pypes LTs & O/R X. Next weekend i'm installing them. We'll see how it goes...
