Choose a CAI on what suits your eyeballs and wallet. They're all equivalent in performance. It's who writes the tune that's the main consideration. The tune is about 70-80% of the power gain of the combo.

What Nuke said. It's all in the tune. Just a CAI? Useless without the tune. You cannot feel the power increase because it is only like 5-10 BHP

I agree with NUKE too. You should consider the STEEDA intake/tune combo too.

You can do a custom tune by itself and pick up about 12-18 RWHP, depending on the tune. But the CAI compliments a good tune. The combo is typically good for 20-25 RWHP.

They're all equal, just choose which one looks the best to you.

Like stated above, the tune is the important part....brenspeed, AM, jdm are three good tuners.

Maybe from a performance viewpoint this is correct, but not all intakes are created equal when it comes to fit and finish. I got a C&L racer with my combo, and don't care for it. Comes with zip-ties to anchor the heat shield and does not fit very well imo. Moved around so much that it wore a hole in my filter from rubbing up against the heat shield in about 2 months of use...homebrew POS for $250+!

Fit and finish is what you are paying for with an intake, make no mistake! They all perform much the same.
Go with the steeda, frpp, or my personal favorite saleen extreme air from brenspeed or AM with your combo...just remember like stated, no tune with the intake = no fun.

Bye bye c&l...hello saleen
