Roush Axle-Backs, get the square tips and roush rear valence, car will sound nasty, and look it from the rear too.

Concur- I bought a used set of Steeda cans & have been very pleased w/them. At idle & cruise, no louder than stock but when you goose them delicioous sound w/out being obnoxious & no drone whatsoever.

SLP Loudmouths. before I thought it was just me blowing smoke up my ****. but after having ppl constantly tell you at lights that your car sounds amazing ( and coming from other stangs ) tells me I made the right choice. Worth looking into if you want a crisp LOUD sound

I like my O/R X with Zoomers axleback...no drone and sounds deep and quiet until you rip on it

Should have never asked what the "best" was hahaa.
exhaust note is an opinion.

For an otherwise stock setup. I loved the SLP loudmouths we had on our 06GT.
Loud and really gave the old muscle sound.

When we added the cams, long tubes, and catted x it was just WAY too much though.
Had to take them off. Could not drive over 1kRPM without giving earth-shattering noise to every house on the block haha.

They all sound great, some you can tell will be a little too loud. But my main concern was DRONE. sounds like steeda or ford racing or american thunder flows are the way to go. Was wanting to hear from people who had the hushpowers. Thanks for the input fellas.
