I discovered that too. And after looking at the packages for the GT I was glad that I bought at 2012 GT. You can't get a rear end above 3.31 and the claimed GT track pack is only for the BOSS and GT500. They added more to the lower selling GT500 and took away more options from the higher selling GT. You can't even get factory HID's anymore on the GT.

The new 2013 Mustang GT is awesome. When I visited a dealer to get my internship paper signed they had one in the showroom. The taillights are sweet in person. It does seem though that the whole package ordeal, darksky, makes it seem as though they are moving into a more pricey new car sales idea.

I'm glad you got a 2012 too! Trying to justify your purchase huh?

HIDs are standard on all 2013s... and don't worry, the optional rear gear ratios are still available - just not on the build site. LOL

I read somewhere that the track pack and some other options aren't all listed yet on Fords build and price web site, but they will be available options on the GT.

I been checking the site everyday for this.

I have some questions for you 2010-2012 owners

I am looking to get a 2013 5.0, White and I need some feedback.

1: Should I get the 3.73 gears?
& if so
2: What is a price I should be paying with 3.73 gears?

I am military so I get a few extra dollars off. I got offered a 2012 White w/no options for 28k out the door.. but I am looking forward to the 2012, the new tails are sweet and I like what they did with the front fascia

I don't have a 5.0, but I did test drive one when I was getting my car serviced at my local Ford dealer. The car was a Brembo car with 3.73s. I felt that the 3.73s were too short for the new 6 speed manual - 1st gear was almost useless to me. If I were to order a new 5.0 (2013 or newer of course), I would go for the 3.55s...

I'm extremely happy with my 2012. HID's standard would be cool. And if they update the build site then all is good. I just noticed that the options seemed limited.

The online configurator has been updated with the track pack info. And they didn't take anything away from the GT. They added a lot to every model. I personally am really excited to get the new gt track pack (signed buyers order last night and should have it within a couple weeks). 420hp, 3.73s, brembo package, upgraded radiator and engine cooler, torsen diff, plus i got the leather recaros as well, which are amazing. And like that one guy said, HID's are standard now... Plus with the GT premium you get the new LCD display with the track apps thing which is pretty cool. And the new front and rear fascia. I personally love the new front, and will do some stuff to the rear to make me love it too lol.

Looks like I'll be trading in my '11 for a White GT/CS with a glass roof. That's a sweet looking car.
