headers!!

hi i might end up buying headers at a swap meet thats comming soon.

i might buy headers does anyone know the diff between long tube and short tube?
also if i buy the headers what else do i need to buy with them..

i might also buy high flow cats anyone hear of any improvement with high flow cats?

Long tubes definitely give more gains, but are moicu harder to install. From what I understand some have seen issues that required stiffer mounts on the motor. Seems that raining the engine a couple of inches is required as well.But still, that drive even more TQ to the wheels. Also, you will have to lose the cats with LT's. SHort tubes provide some gain, not as much, and are an easier install. As for tha high flo cats, more gains and less heat build up in the tunnel. Solves the heat issue in the well at the stick, porovides better flow and some power gains, and gives more of a muscular sound out the back.
