It puts them in a different riding height than was designed for them OEM.
Ummm, my car has been lowered with 1.5 inch springs for almost all of it's 40,000 miles and 6 years.

Overall installation has been going fairly well. Had to adjust some exhaust so that seemed to take a majority of the time. I decided to stick with the OEM strust/shocks. My understanding the Brembo kit has better the stock GT dampers. So we'll see.
Looks good. Did you cut the snubbers in the back?

I haven't. Looked like there was plenty of room. I've been getting into it fairly regularly and haven't felt it hit the stops. Hitting the track on Friday hopefully. Will know more then.

You'll want to cut them before you go to the track. If you launch hard and hook, you'll slam the hell out of the bump stops. I thought a bomb went off in my trunk the first time it happened to me. Also, the "leak" is normal. As for those weights on the rear axle, yank them off. They're just dead weight.

It's kind of an "all the above" sort of answer. Wheel hop is the #1 thing it fixes.

They improve launch traction AND cornering traction.
