The heads are completely toast and there's this strange transfer of metal from piston to head and vice versa on 6 of 8 cylinders. Never seen anything like it... we were thinking that it must have been caused by detonation (course racing in 105 degree heat). Now I'm seriously looking into upgrading the radiator and getting a louvered hood (to help keep IAT's down). Just wondering what you've experienced since you have to deal with this heat in a boosted car too.

I have had no issues so far but I also haven't really stressed it in the heat.

What do you think you will put out after that turbo install? How much boost? The e force is only 6 psi.

I'm thinking it should be at least 700whp on a conservative 7-9lbs. But we'll see. It's going to be dyno tuned, so I'll have some hard numbers then.. I'm also getting an eboost2 controller so I can crank it up when I forge the engine... I'll run it pretty conservatively at first though.
You should check out s197... tons of info and some pretty cool guys on there. I'm rarely ever on here.
