Default 2010 Drivetrain Problems

Took my bone stock manual 2010 with 32,000 miles in for some minor warranty items. Biggest thing on the list was a little bit of oil residue I noticed on the transmission bell housing last time I changed the motor oil. Turns out the slave cylinder is leaking and they also said I need carrier bearings in the rear diff (apparently they noticed a noise; I never noticed anything out of the ordinary but I've only had the car for about 7000 miles so I guess I thought it was normal and didn't know anything different). Everything's covered under warranty and I asked them if there was any reason beyond mechanical defect for both problems and they said no. I don't track or beat on the car in any way. Has anyone else had either of these problems this early on in the life of the car? Seems a little early for these things to go bad. Granted, I don't know for sure how the car was treated before I got it. It all could just be a fluke (things that move can break of course), but curious to know if anyone else has had anything similar happen early on in the life of their car. Thanks for any input!

Manufacturing defect. I had a bad transmission from the factory, it was a known problem from a bad batch, but by no means was it common, I'm sure it was well less than 1%.

Regarding the rear end, I have read here where two other 2010 guys had pinion seal leaks.
