Default New interior done. Ultraleather and Alcantara-Check it out

Just finished redoing my interior. I had alcantara throughout my AMG.

I got tired of looking at all the plastic and did this project.

Tell me what you think.

Thank you. My wifes Maxima was 41k. It blows away the Mustang interior. I got in her car to move it and I immediately ordered 3 yards of Ultraleather and 3 yards of Alcantara and a ton of glue.

It took about a month or so, but it was worth it.

Looks "baggy" and like it doesn't fit well. Love the idea, not the execution.

Those are roush BlackJack seats... They were probably folded for 4 years.

I was actually talking about the door panels and everything else in the interior...

Anyway lol.

A steamer should be able to take the wrinkles out. I like the upholstery work. I want to redo my headliner, sunshades and a few other things.

I will try out the steamer.

The headliner takes 5 yards. i put thin poly padding on one side of the shades. The a arms are easier in a coupe because they don't show the wrap on the top of the pillar like the convertible.

I would order 7 yards for the headliner, a-arms and visors.

I order my materials from Gulf Fabricators - gulffab1@aol.com. Email them for a quote. They were quick and nice to deal with. I spoke with Debbie mostly.

Its kinda hard not to see the forest for the trees as those blackjack covers are so distracting. I think once you have that addressed, it will be a lot easier to reach a larger audience.

With the interior work I've been doing, I can appreciate the time and effort you've put into it. I'm glad I'm reaching the end as my fingers and hands are getting torn to shreds!

You can also try using a hairdryer or pick up a cheap heat gun from a hobby or automotive store. Interiors are a pain to do and you did an awesome job on the door panels.

Thanks. I am going to try to work on it this weekend. Every picture I have found of Roush seats look exactly this way when they have been in storage for 4 to 6 years...

I even have a brand new bottom seat pad from Ford. It's hog ringed down correctly and stretched to fit.

When I took them out of the box I figured they would be like this for awhile...
