Default FRPP Shaker vs CDC Shaker

What (if any) is the real difference between the two?

I want to put the shaker on, I used to have a 03 Mach I and love it, I want to do it again with this car.

2ndly, what would be the best way to cover/repair the 2 most forward holes from removal of the factory hood scoop?

Lastly; I bought the car used, so obviously it can't be perfect, the pass side rear most and 2nd rear most "brackets" that hold the scoop down are broken, is there a type of putty/"glue" that will repair this? I am trying to keep my hood scoop from flapping up and down while I'm at speeds over 50 MPH. Thanks ahead of time

The FRPP Shaker is our CDC Shaker - they buy it from us so you're buying the exact same Shaker System either way.

As for the holes that will be left by your factory scoop, unfortunately you'll have to fill them to get rid of them. Either you'll have to repaint your hood or get some racing stripes once the holes are filled to effectively eliminate them.

I hope that helps

I think the only difference though is the sill plates used on each side of the Shaker. CDC's says MUSTANG and FRPP says Ford Racing.

That's been true in the past. However, we now use the "Ford Racing" plates on our own shakers so the parts are identical. You'll be receiving the same Shaker with the same plates either way!

Are there any centri blowers that will work with the shaker? I'm still getting the shaker because I like the look, but I plan on getting a blower in 6-8 months (going to do the rest of the car first, suspension etc) and dont want to loose the shaker unit

Yes! You can keep your shaker and fit a centrifugal supercharger with a little modification. We've installed a Procharger and a Vortech on Mustangs with Shaker Systems. As long as it's not top mounted, it should work.

That explains it! I just purchased a Shaker kit and when I opened it saw the Ford Racing plates and thought they sent me a FRPP kit. Why did you guys change it? I think it would be better to have it say MUSTANG.

The demand for "Ford Racing" plates was higher than that for the ones that simply said "MUSTANG". However, that's not to say we couldn't go back to the original plates if a customer asked for them!

Here's a shot of Team Shinoda's 2007 GT with our Shaker System and a Vortech supercharger. Hopefully this helps!
