Default Dyno'd my 05 GT today

Finally got her on the dyno. Unfortunately its crazy hot still so it didn't help with me getting the numbers i hoped for but ill take them i suppose. The humidity was at 28% and it was 94degrees when i ran it. Did 3 pulls the only mods i have that effect these numbers are steeda underdrive pulley, 93 octane diablo tune, j&l intake, lightweight aluminum driveshaft, kooks longtubes, kooks h pipe, and mac axlebacks. I know both numbers should be over 300 just need to get a better day, and possibly a more advanced tune.

Gonna go to the strip in a couple weeks to see what my 1/4 times are.

I had a video but youtube isn't cooperating atm.

I'd expect to see 300-310 based on your mods. But all-in-all, I think those are decent #'s, considering the ambient temp.

Yeah I agree with Nuke. Those are some solid #'s under the conditions..

yea the heat here is pretty awful we ran the first two and then let the car cool for about 10 minutes before running the 3rd and that was my best pull. The car was honestly set up for track racing and not as much straight line so i guess for what it is i should be happy.

I wouldn't get caught up in Dyno numbers. U can have a Dyno queen and still get ur *** handed to u buy a lesser car (performance parts). Dynos r good tools for monitoring the vitals of your engine

What was the baseline before the mods?

Yea it's been pretty hot that was at 10am too. The wheels are steeda pentastars I really like them.

Bought the car with the mods so never got a good base. Hopefully get on the dyno and get a better tune when it cools down. Hope I can pull low 13s at the strip.

Got it. Take it down the strip for sure. It will serve as a better metric than the dyno at this point unless you are planning future mods.
