Since 2005 has the Mustang come with a saddle leather interior? Just curious, because that is my favorite color interior!

 

I'm not sure what year they introduced the saddle leather in the S197's but it's very rare. Matter of fact, I've seen it so rarely that I wonder if it even WAS an option.

On a side note, the S197's (05 thru 09, at least) have leather TRIMMED seats, NOT leather seats. You'll see that in the brochure and your window sticker. The seats are basically pleather.

 

Not sure on the mustangs, but I used to work at an automotive interior manufacturing facility and it has been that way for a long time. It used to be the only actual leather was in the middle of the seats. The bolsters were man made materials.

 

Saddle Leather is available on 2013 and 2014 in all colors V6 and GT Premium except GHG and GrBlue. And they call it "leather trimmed".

 

Not sure when they introduced it either, but I have it in my 2007 GT( it's leather for sure too), I love it! Rare it is, I think for 2007, only 20 or so have that color.

 

Considering how crappy the leather they use is it's a good thing that it's mostly vinyl. Also they should rephrase the description, because only the front seats are leather trimmed, the rear is all vinyl.

 

I knew it was rare, but i didn't know how rare it was! Do you have any pictures of yours? Also, does anyone know what color exterior came with that interior the most(in the 08-09 models)?
