Octane Difference???

You do not mention methanol content.
100% 91 or 93 will feel a lot better than
91 or 93 thats 10% methanol.
I run the straight gas without the methanol.

ps the adaptive learning wont respond to
the different fuel right away

I have a PURE station about 6-7 miles from my home that sells ethanol-free 89 octane and that just happens to be the tune that I've been running 99% of the time for the past 6 years. I use that fuel for all my yard equipment, my boat and when it's convenient, the Stang. When I used to run the Stang from KY to Chicago every other week, I'd see up to 4 MPG loss when using ethanol-laced fuel.

ethanol is garbage for a non-E85 car. Only idiots in Washington could convince scientist that adding ethanol (which has less potential energy) to gas was cleaner despite having to burn more of it to do the same amount of work...

Some good reading in these FAQs if you want to know more about fuel and octane... http://www.vpracingfuels.com/vp-racing-tech.html
