Default the 500hp threshold. who has broken it N/A'ed

I was checking hp estimates on bolt on parts and was wondering if it is possible to break out of the 500hp area with a N/A engine? I am talking long tube headers, cai , tune, cam, exhaust. The 2013's are rated at 420 at the crank and on paper it looks like 526 or so is achievable with the right parts working together.

Currently I am running BBK longtube headers, x cat extentions and flowmaster 44s, and a BBK cai. I also either have an aggressive tune or a cam not sure which as I bought it as it is now. Any guesstamations what I could be looking at hp wise?

you are assuming that those advertised numbers for the mods are correct and that they stack.......in the real world they dont stack. 500hp will be pretty hard to get without a power adder

Brenspeed is claiming 519 for this NA package.

nice! hard to believe that they can get that much gain from intake exhaust and tune. pretty pricy though considering you can run a centri supercharger for about the same price

They don't specify crank or wheel HP. I wonder how much the low end torque sacrifice is. All the goodies in that package are oriented towards high rpm HP.

I'll do a dyno run after I move from the 475 to the 519 setup, next spring if the tax man is nice to me. The cheapest SC I've seen is $6K. I don't want boost on my car, so this works for me, even if their HP figures (like everyone elses...) are inflated.

An '11-'15 GT with a CAI, LT headers, full exhaust, and a tune will put down around 420rwhp. A Boss 302 intake with 90mm TB will take it up to ~440rwhp (close to 500 flywheel HP) but you'll also need cams to break the 500fwhp threshold.

The Brenspeed set-up looks nice, but I am a bit apprehensive to believe it gets over 500hp at the flywheel. That's a huge claim for intake/exhaust/tune.
A complete Procharger set-up will run you $5000 and have even more power than advertised due to your headers. And it will be easier to install than cams.

that's the way it has to be in a normally aspirated engine. Look at the GT350, 90 more horsepower than the stock GT but practically the same peak torque. the torque peak is at a higher RPM.
