Passenger side air vent

Okay so every time I turn on my air I get a hissing sound and it gets louder the more I turn the air up...what could it be?

obstruction in the vent would be my guess. something could have come apart or something could have crawled in

pull off the vent, what year is yours? On the 05 to 09 Mustangs you just pull on them, which I sometimes do to stick a soda can in there to cool it off. Works surprisingly well.
