I have looked everywhere for the small little cover that goes in the shifter override hole on the automatic shifter. Does anyone have one they would sell? This is one of the last parts I need to finish the restoration.

 

You have to buy the the whole "T" handle. If not, then the whole shifter
assembly...

Override? What's that? Overdrive?

 

It's the small plug that goes in to the right of the shifter. You pull the small plug and mash the internal button to shift out of gear without turning on the ignition. thanks

I highly doubt you will find just that interlock bypass cover...

It's part of this assembly:


The whole thing pops off once the center console cover is removed. May try eBay for the part,
as I said, I doubt you will find the oval cover.

I would make one, and use 3M tape to hold it in.
