Default Resale question

Just wondering how much I could expect to get for my 2006 GT convertible. It has high miles (177K), but is in superior condition. Five speed with MGW shifter. Never wrecked, garage kept, no rust, clutch recently replaced, New Michelin tires, good brakes, Screamin' Yellow, good top, Interior very good. HID headlights. Uses no oil between changes. Has had synthetic oil every 5K miles since new. I purchased it new from factory. Babied all it's life, never abused or raced. Just wondering...

Kbb.com will give you basic ideas. All depends on what private party is willing to pay . honestly, I think the mileage will ding you big... Imo.

Demand is very location and time specific. You will get less for a Mustang if you try to sell it during the winter time if it snows in your area. You will get less for a Mustang in the snow belt in general because it's not a good car for four seasons.

KBB it or or check Autotrader for what cars are going for locally.

Convertibles have their best resale value in April/May before the summer season of top down driving.

Thanks guys. I had a crazy idea of selling my 'Stang and buy a 2004 Thunderbird. Thank goodness, it's gone so I will stay with my pony.

I guess to each his own. Personally, I think the last T-Bird series was the most beautiful car Ford ever made, but that's just my opinion.

I think due to it's limited availability and unique styling (being one of the first 'retro' designs), it will probably end up being more collectible that a similar year mustang.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder i guess.. Bird = ugly duckling. Mustang = proud, handsome stallion.

I liked what Ford was trying to do with the last-gen 'bird, but the detailed execution . . . not so much.

Too soft and rounded off, almost amorphous, which reminds me at least as much of a Porsche 356 (if slightly stretched) as it does its original ancestor.
