What's going on, I recently replaced my fuel pump assembly on my driver side with one from rockauto.com and after putting it in, it works great and everything but the only issue I'm having now is my fuel gauge will sometimes read half a tank and go down to Empty. It will do that through out the day. Any ideas.

 

It sounds like the fuel gauge sending unit isn't picking up a signal from the driver's side of the tank.
