Yes to both questions. If you use the C&L with the Saleen S/C then you will need to notch the hood in order for the hood to close. Do a search I have already answered this in another thread and posted a picture of where you need to notch the hood.

Check with salleen I don't know if they supply the flas for pcm like on my roushcharger. On the roushcharger cannot use any cai. They supply a filters and everything for air cleaner mods. They said something about too much turbalance in air commiming in to properly calibrate. I wll now have a k&n filter and xcal2 that I will be selling

They provide a base tune that is not worth loading in your car if you can get a dyno tune. You can get a better tune through the mail from JDM Engineering. The best part of the Saleen kit is that you can use any CAI that you want your not stuck with a CAI that comes in a kit.
