Default Hurst Shifter

From what I hear, Hurst makes the shortest throw and they feel pretty good also.

My main question is what install is prolly going to run?

Thanks

I second that! If you can turn a wrench, you should be able to install it yourself.

Does anybody have the hurst or B&M installed? I'm trying to decide between the two and need to know if anyone already has one on and what the difference (if any) it was. I have a clutchmaster 650 HP clutch and trying to match up to it.

I installed the Hurst a few days ago and am very happy with it. It definitely firmed up the shifts and gives the shifter a more solid feel. It gives you a more direct feel to the transmission instead of the slightly mushy feel of the stock shifter.

Is there much work to do and will I screw something up? I don't wont to hurt my baby ya know.

I have fair knowledge but you think I can pull it off?

Also, will the dealership say anything about it?

Short shifters are usually pretty easy to put in. I can't say for the new mustangs just because of the pictures I haven't done my yet.

I have the HURST Shifter and I love it. Very easy to install. It can be changed out from the top so you won't have to disconnect the drive shaft or remove any mounts. I you know someone who has a lift, use it. The whole project took about 45 min. Good Luck
