This strut tower bar is manufactured from seamless extruded aluminum, mandrel bend and polished to a high shine! Surely to get you extra points at the next car show! The strut tower mounting brackets are laser cut mild steel, then powdercoated in black. This set-up has the highest strength and rigidity, with the Lightest possibleweight. Just look as these specs.....

Bar Spec: 1.3 lbs Mandrel Bent Seamless Aluminum Extrusion

Bracket Spec: 1.1 lbs Each side. Mild Steel, Powder Coated Black

All included hardware is stainless steel.

Designed to be used with stock motors mounts. We have not tested with the use of lowered engine mounts...JDM, etc.

seems to me it would hit the blower as the engine rocks back and forth? Does it require harder engine mounts?

 

Hito, Good question. This bar has been tested on both the coupe and conv. stangs.There has not been any fitment issues. As we all know, there is not much room in-between the Saleen upper "top hat". The bar has been designed to utilize the largest open area in the blower top to give the most "engine torque over" room. It does not require harder mounts to be used.

Any idea if this strut tower brace will fit over teh fuel rail covers offered by CDC I think?
