Default Grandfather.

After having a heart attack Tuesday night. Trouble breathing all night and not wanting to disturb anyone, he goes into work the next day with his sons where he is taken to the ER.
They perform a heart cath Thursday and he seemed to be doing fine afterwards. Ate and talked to those that came to see him.
Not sure on the details yet but I was called this afternoon and told he passed away.
90 years and 1 week old today

Thanks. He was a tough one. Kept asking when he could leave the hospital and head back to work. He wanted to keep busy right till the end.
Was scheming with his youngest son how he was going to sneak out and head to some races Saturday.
He was doing fine and said he was tired and laid down for a nap and slipped away.
Told us there was a blood clot that made it to his heart. We're sad he's gone but we know he wouldn't want to have a stroke and not be able to do anything for himself so we are happy he didn't take a while and hurt for weeks.

Sorry for your loss, I lost both grandfathers by the time I was 7. Sounds like he was full of life until the end. I am sure he will be missed greatly.

Yea its gonna be tough. On the way out of the funeral my aunt<who always tries to sneak my keys to drive the stang> said I should do a burnout on the way out for him. To much traffic to even think of it, but on the way home tonight found a nice empty parking lot.
