Had quite a scare with my Grandma this weekend. She has been rapidly declining in the past year with her dementia. Her vitals dropped really low Saturday night and have held steady since. Hospice has given her 1-2 more days estimated. I just pray when her time comes she can go peacefully. She is a very strong woman who has never had anything given to her. She only attended school until fourth grade so she could begin working and she had to teach herself how to read and write. An amazing woman who raised an amazing daughter who is my mother. I also pray for her in this troubling time. Seeing my mother cry like she did Saturday night brought knots to my stomach.
