I used to frequent some local car shows and made it out to NPR every once in a while for a test-n-tune, but I haven't really done anything in the mustang scene since my wife got pregnant at the end of 2008. The shows and cruise nights I used to frequent have all dried up, and I just don't have the free time for NPR right now. What else is going on in the mustang scene?

 

I used to be active in the Baton Rouge Mustangers but like you, life happened and things just kinda went away. It'd be nice to get a bunch of Stangs together at a park in Baton Rouge and have a family picnic, impromptu car show, meet and greet.

 

i'm thinkin we should have a big one somewhere in the middle of lousiana so evreyone can go to it!!

 

Thats a cool idea, but for those of us with kids, it makes it hard to do especially if you got more kids than seating area in the Mustang like me. Its much easier to put a small gathering together locally. Your idea is not a bad idea, it just requires time and dedication to set up. I know, I've been there as I was once president of the Baton Rouge Mustangers. We hosted a yearly show and it was a beast to put on.

 

i just kinda threw it out because i've been tryin to find a mustang organization in louisiana and i know i wont be able to drive to baton rouge because i'm 16 so my parents wont allow that
