Shifter's (5 speed)
I have had my Steeda Tri-Ax for 8 months now, and love it! Not saying it is the best, but it is pretty nice. I have heard great things about the others as well, so it is hard for me to say which to choose.
I've heard about those linkages on the 05+. I don't know if it had anything to do with your MGW messing up or not. I have a MGW and love it. Had it for 3k miles now without trouble. Very short and precise throws.
C'mon, no B&M guys in here? I love my B&M Ripper Shifter, I'd take it anyday over a Tri-Ax. I just drove my buddy's 04 Mach w/ a Tri-Ax and didn't like it at all compared to the B&M. It's all personal preferance, any aftermarket shifter would be better than the stock peice...

I had a Tri-Ax before my Pro 5.0. The Tri-Ax is mad notchy status, and so loud. I swear i could hear every working of the trans. The Pro 5.0 is much smoother and a lot quieter. Havent had a MGW, but have heard many complaints about theclockablearm loosening after time and some hard shifts. Not something i would experiment with. Pro 5.0 FTW.
