Im thinking about buying this 2003 mach 1 with 40k miles, but was wonder what you guys were getting gas mileage whise. All thats been done to it is x-pipe with no cats and has dual 40 series flows. its also an automatic. what do you guys get?? thanks

 

with my auto i got 16-17 city 24 highway, also get a 5 speed they have forged cranks and a higher redline, i had an auto mach 1 and always regreted not going with the 5 speed

 

Actually its for my girlfriend and i dont think i would want to be on the road with her is she had a 5 speed. thanks man,

 

20 mpg on mine with a 5-speed and 4.10's

 

driving nicely lol... I get around 17-20 in town and have averaged 26-27 on the highway (with 4.10s!)

 

i drive 66.6 miles per day round trip, mixed hwy/city. depending on driving i get averaged 22-28 mpg..
ive pulled 31 mpg on factory gears! (driving real conservative)

 

16-18 around town, and upper 20's (as much as 30mpg stock) on the freeway. Most recently 27mpg on a road trip to Brenham...

 

I average 18mpg with a mix of city and Hwy driving with 3.55s. I am not a conservative driver, could most likely get 20mpg if I backed off a bit. Now Ihave 4.10s and can't tell much if any difference in MPG.
