Kooks to me is basically top of the line but really pricey! That'll probably net the most hp, but to be honest its not gonna be by much! Most LT,O/R X, and Catback combos all give about the same hp! You'll probably spend around 1300-1400 for a good full exhaust! American muscle is a pretty good place to start! Decent prices and we get a discount!

Catless would not if you have you have a sniffer or a visual test

Longtubes... offroad x-pipe and a catback with modular mufflers (slp, magnapack, borla stingers) will give you the best performance most times out of 10.

I'd spend the extra coin and get a cat-back. The piping is so much better and all mandrel bent. I've got the matching Bassani Cat-Back on my 01 Cobra and I wish I had a sound clip of it to show you but maybe soon I can get my hands on a camera...
