Default Price on a Mach 1

I have been looking around for a 04 comp. orangeMach 1. I have seen the prices range from a little over 20k to a little more than 30k for similar cars all in greatcondition as far as the body and nothing over 30,000 miles. The question is what should I expect to pay for the 04 with a 5sp and no more than 30,000 miles on it? The reason I ask is because 10k is alot of money to be the difference in price for almost identical cars.

I personally would not buya mach 1 over 20k unless it was in pristine condition. I actually just saw a mach1 parked for sale at a nearby parking lot. It was dark shadow grey had 6k miles brand new condition. He was asking $18,900 obo, sojust be patient and you can find a good deal.

I am picking one up this week hopefully for $20,000. It has 6k miles and it pristine. They seem to be about $20,000 here on average.

Mach 1 are very rare to find, especially Comp. Orange. There is only 2 Orange Mach 1 where I live and that's including mine. I paid 21K for mine about 2 yrs. ago. I wish you luck on finding one.

Thanks, I really like the Mach and really want the orange, but any color will do fine. I see you guys are saying that about 20k is the average, but why am I seeing ones with 30,000 miles for almost 30k, the cars aren't even in that perfect of shape.

I paid 20k for mine with 25k miles o it. I could've held off and got one a little cheaper from a private seller. There was a guy on here a while back selling one for 17k with about 10k miles on it. I have no idea what the deal is with the $30k Mach you saw!

I have seen quite a few actually for almost 30k, don't get me wrong, they are awsome cars but not for 30k with that many miles on it too.

They must have some kind of modification done. You just have to go the owner or dealership and see if they would come down on the price. I got mine at a dealership, and they would not come down on the price. So I left and came back a week later, the car wasn't sold yet. I made another offer and they still wouldn't come down on the price, so I left again. About 2 weeks later I am still looking for a Mach 1, I decided to go back to the dealership and try them one more time. So they finally came down to the price I originally ask for 21k.

These were private sellers with completely stock cars, even down to the air filters. I offered one guy 22k for the car because that seem like a fair deal for an 04 comp. orange with a 5sp and 9,000 miles but the guy laughed, I walked away on the spot and the guy has left like 20 messages knowing if I want to work on a price.
