Throw some cobra badges on it, a saleen kit, and a roush sticker across the top of the windshield too. That will look super cool.

The hood should fit fine, it is the mounting of the shaker that may be the problem. The stock GT hood is lower then the MACH hood. If you got the CDC shaker scoop, you may have to find a way to raise the scoop.

The Shaker isn't going to sit at the right height for the Mach hood. It is designed for the lower GT hood.

Here is CDC's Shaker mounting system, two rails attaching from the alternator to throttle cable attachment on the Plenum, throttle body.
Shaker mounted
I'm not sure how the real MACH's are hooked up or the reason why they are taller the standard GT's.
I'm assuming the 4V engine itself is taller as well as the plenum and throttle body being taller then the stock GT, thus the need for the higher hood.
So as I stated, you'll have to figure out to get the scoop higher so it goes out the MACH hood.

From the outside, I thought the conversion kits looked pretty cool but ZOMG @ that inlet tube from the Shaker scoop to the filter [:'(][:'(]
