Default Supercharging??

i got a 04 mach 1 with 14K on the speedo, from a single ower yadda yadda yadda neways the questions are...

will the 03 cobra eaton fit on the mach 1?

if so... ill put the 8:8:1 compression pistions in it, but will the aluminium block hold up to the stress?

and does the mach 1 have forged internals?

The Eaton will fit.
And if your Mach is a manual it has a forged crank but nothing else.
If your Mach is an automatic then it has nothing forged.

I posted something like this in the SVT section like 4 months ago and basically the outcome was that the whole top and front of the engine has to be redone, a lot of **** has to be re-routed and the cost to doing so would be the same as buying an aftermarket blower...

Its simply alot easier and more beneficial to go with a centri. or twin screw! Eaton's have no where near the potential of some of the aftermarket blowers out there!

And to answer your ?'s! Yes the eaton will fit, but alot of little parts are required. The eaton willbasically top out before you even have to worry about the block, its the internals that you need to worry about which usually top off at 450rwhp, with the exception of the crankshaft if you have a 5-speed!
