Whoa! 1-3 hp sucks! Especially when JBA Shorties run you $750! I would've agrued the lack of gain if they hadn't of done the research.

Even long tubes, there's a big thread going on in the SVT Forums right now about long tubes. A lot of the guys are saying gains of only 10 RWHP after long tubes. Definatly not worth the money either for those guys...

i have a bbk x pipe and yes i do get a rattle around 12-1500 rpm. no one makes shorties for the machs only the gts. if you have emissions just get longtubes and a catted x pipe with lm1s they sound amazing that way. and i also heard if oyu go with bbk mid pipe you have to go with a bbk headers and same for mac and the rest bc they wont fit right. im installing some macs on my mach this winter and dyno tune. my tuner said with fullbolt on machs he sees around 305-310 rwhp. so they do love to breat but they need some headwork cams and a major tune and you will be set.
why 305-310? i thought it would be more

my car is making 310 right now without lt's

full bolt on cobras make around 320-330

Pat you've got a ported mani, it's worth just as much as LT's. When Nick talked to Lideo he said full bolt-on including headers, nothing about a ported manifold. So you're right w/ your 310 but w/ headers on your car you'll get 320...

How much will a Mach pick up with a Dyno tune and LTsversus a Dyno Tune with stock manifolds? I can see there not being a massive gain with headers alone. I always thought you had to have tune to get the mostout of any bolt-on.
