I don't have any solid plans right now, but I have been looking at nitrous. With good tires, minor bolt ons and a 100 shot, what times should a Mach be running in the 1/4 mile?

I am guessing probably about low 12's but I just wanted to check. Would 11's be pretty realistic?

 

Going by my times with really bad tires, I would think that DRs and a 100 shot would get me alow 12 assuming a 100 shot will knock off a full second. So if you do the same, my guess would be that a 12.0 would bea piece of cake with the occasional high 11.The again,with bolt-ons, tires, and 100 shot, you're gonna almost have to get some control arms to pull off that time.

 

Alright. That is what I thought. My goal right now is to hit 12's. I just got the car a month ago. I was just thinking about eventually hitting 11's if I could do it with spray. Maybe FI but I am not sure.

 

all i have on my mach is a php intake spacer, mid pipe, weld in flows, sct hand held tuner, and jlt rai. on slicks i cut a 1.8 60foot and turned a 12.6. i could of got a 12.4 outta it i belive but my slicks i wasnt thinking and i was running them at 20psi and not the normal 14 psi. and my cluch was sliping bad. so this winter new clutch, and ill be hitting the low 12s. you should be easy in the 12s with 100 shot. there is a guy over on mach1reg. he has almost what i have and 100 shot and is turning a 12.1 but i doubt he isnt launching as hard as me. i launch at 4500.
