Default another s/c question

i know the mach are 10.1 :1 and love the FI i've read that 8-9 psi is the farthest you want to push the boost to with the CR as high as it is. so could you retard the timing and get more boost safely? since im seeing that the timing @ like 15*-20* would kill the motor could you put it at 9-11* and put a smaller pully and have the boost at like 9-11psi and still be safe?

if i actually get a mach im want to be laying down around 450-475rwhp, i know the tranny doesnt like that, but that can be fixed....i would be "happy with 430-445 rwhp"

ok here a setup i see that is very common and getting great results
ati procharger 8psi intercooled
3.80 pulley
LT headers (any suggestions)
bassani o/r H pipe
mac catbacks to 3" tips

would that get me my 460 rwhp?

all of this is hypothetical i dont have one yet, but when i get it i want to be able to take my CO his setup
roush 428R (430hp) full exhaust and pulley change the way i figured that puts him around 480-500hp with a 15% loss that puts him at 400-425rwhp.

They're pretty much even matched! And hp wise i'd keep it at around 425ish rwhp to keep it safe! And our tranny should easy be able to handle 475rwhp, i believe one of the guys on the forum was to about 615 or something on itbefore it finally went out on him!

You should be alright as long as you have a conservative tune and dont beat on it!
