Diablo tuning tips?????
HELLO TO ALL!!!!New to this stuff but it looks like fun. Have had my Mach only 2 mo. and have installed a JLT intake (shaker still functional) and have an SLP cat-back and 4.10s both ready to go in, along with Eibachs for the heck of it. I also just got my Diablo Predator tuner but not sure what the heck to do other than just go with the standard upgrade tune it comes with. Have heard about people custom tuning for the best gains......ANY TIPS???????? Thanks a bunch in advance.

The Diablo tune is better than a stock tune, but if you really want to make the most of your tune, have someone tune it on the Dyno. Also, know that those Eibachs will not lower your car enough to be noticeable, although they should handle a little better.
You're going to love those 4.10s!! Best first mod for a Mach IMO. I didn't pick up a lot of ET with gears since I'm on street tires, but I did pick up trap speed like a mad man.
Think about getting an off-road mid pipe too. They seem to help our cars out a lot.
Congratulations on your new Mach and welcome to the crowd.

Get a wideband o2 setup with a data logger. Check out some of the setups from http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/ I bought this combo from this site, I bought the blue led because my car is blue, display is weak in the daylight red might be better. It has a data logger that plays back as long as you dont shut the key off. http://www.moates.net/product_info.p...roducts_id=142 there are better setups this one fit my budget. Which ever setup you prefer this is a must if you want to do it yourself to get your air fuel ratio right with your hand held tuner. I would also consider a midpipe catted or non catted because you need to install a bung for the wideband o2 sensor.
Thanks Stone629. I'll have to find someone with a dyno I guess. I heard about the minimal drop w/ the Eibachs, but any drop will do I guess. The 4.10s will def help, just have to work the clutch well b/c I'm on street tires too. Would go w/ OR midpipe but in MD the emitions testing and inspections are pretty strict. I'll still be losing 2 of the cats and getting bigger pipe though w/ whatever I get. Probably SLP to go w/ the catback I have. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
get your bolt ons on there first. install the gears and exhaust before you tune it, that way you can better tune it for the mods too.
best tune tho is always a dyno tune.
