4...its very expensive to do cams on a 4v. Can cost 2500+ for the parts/labor/tune, but u can pick up 30+rwhp and more with LT's, ported manifold.

You have two cams per head. Think about it, a SOHC motor is aSINGLE OVER HEAD cam, meaning it hasa singlecam overeach head, but thereare two heads, meaning it would have two cams. DOHC means it has two overhead cams per head. Youhave four cams. I want to get cams too, but buying four plus installation is expensive! [:@]

If your going to go with a canned tune, getone of theSCT handhelds and have it tuned on a dyno. Piggy back "chips" are ok, but you can't do a lot with them.. Hold off on the tuner if you are planning on headers, etc and tune the car after you have done the mods. You want to maximize your mods with the tune. If you just put headers on it and don't tune the car for them, you'll only get about half of the gains.

i agree with stone629, get all the bolt ons that you want to do first done, then get a tune otherwise you would be wasting money.

Speaking of tuners...any of you guys have a Diablo? Noone with a dyno tune around here but don't wanna guess on the fuel and spark adjustment grids. Have CAI and SLP catback and wanna add fuel and advance/retard as you guys see fit. Y'all have been a big help, I'm learning...just slowly.

I wouldn't screw around with that stuff unless you know what you are doing and can check to A/F ratio. Pay to have it dyno tuned. You will get the biggest gains and it is the safest way.
