The front suspension is all the same on the Cobra, Mach and GT.

Hrrmm.. would seem to be a little bit of a waste considering the 4v's in the machs and cobras are on average almost 25lbs heavier in the front end from engine weight alone.. but then I guess on the grand scale of weight distribution 25lbs isn't that big a difference.. I do know that the mach's and cobras have stiffer springs and better struts that the GT's do though.. You're right, the design is more than likely all the same, just with differing parts..

Exactly. The suspension set up is all the same design except for the different spring rates, spring heights and shocks/struts.
