which oil do y'all use? its time for an oil change, and i'm not going to pay umpteen billion dollars for a ford dealer oil change.

 

I use Mobil 1 Synthetic with a Mobil 1 filter.

+1, I changed mine a month after I bought it from the dealership. No telling what they had put in it. No lie, it felt so much smoother after the Mobil 1 oil change.

Its going to be a little more expensive than regular oil no matter where you get it. I got the 5w20 and filter at Auto Zone.

 

It looks like royal purple (RP) is the same price. any suggestions?

Get it at the Zone and get one of those AutoZone Rewards cards. Every time you make a $20 purchase, you get a reward credit. I think every 5 credits they give you $20. You can only make one qualifying purchase every 24 hours, so whenI wentto buy myMobil 1, I'd buy $20 worth one day then buy the other part and the filter the next then change the oil. I'm a sneaky bastard, plus the Zoneis right on my way to the hizzle
