any higher mileage 03/04 mach 1s out there? i know this probably sounds dumb, but i like to ask around fellow owners these kinda of questions to know what may be in store for me. anyone had to replace anything yet? like pumps, alternators, etc. when i cracked my block which was my fault cause the stock block could not handle the horsepower that was the only problem i had with this car. i've did modifications, and upgrades, but nothing ever NEEDED to be replaced. just brake pads, and the motor at almost 64k. everything else original. well a couple of turn signal bulbs. anyone else have a little more experience? gonna do the belts, and hoses too once i rebuild, and drop in the motor.

I'm about to hit 40k. I've only had the Mach for about a year, but it had 25k on it when I got it, so I've put some miles on it. I haven't had any issues yet to speak of. I did have some mysterious white smoking going on last weekend. I was afraid at first that it was a blown head gasket. The intake was pitch black, so I cleaned it and the MAF. Smoking hasn't returned and the car feels a little stronger. I think the Machs are apretty solid machine and should be good to go for the long haul.

Damn, I havent even seen any 03/04 Cobras with that low of miles for sale. You must really take care of your car and only drive it on the weekends.

I bought my Mach with only 6k miles on it and completely stock so I like to keep it clean. I never drive it to work or school and it only comes out for cruising on nice days. Winter and rain is off limits.

I've had mine for about 6 months, bought it with 48k, now has 54k. I just got back from 1,000 mile trip and it was by far the most comfortable car to drive on a trip. No problems except for the self induced ones. I drive mine in rain, snow, sun, it's my dd.

Edit - just thought of something. My f'in driver's side seat belt won't retract...[:@]

Did your exhaust smell like that of a chainsaw before the tune, and ease up after the tune?
