Default Future plans for car?

Dad got a 455heads/camolds putting down over 400 at the wheels so that will be the project/weekend car for us to work on so I know I am keeping the mach as my DD for at least a few years.

I know I don't want to dump a lot of money into this like I did my old car, and since I ampaying off a loan(will be done by winter, parents gave me a loan )this entire year due to the mods costs and costof the car I will not modanymore till next spring. But I don't want to go crazy on mods so what would you suggest on a budget of $700-$1k. Give me hp guesses on each modtoo since I see different numbers on mods everywhere.
I was thinking definitely:
-Intake Spacer-$100? Xhp XXtorque
-Dyno tune $200some hp and torque with a better power curve
and what ever other mods you think would fit best into my plans.

I will be upgrading toEagle F1 summer tires for my rear tireswhich I will not account forinto this spending. I'm not gettinga blower in the future unless I feel like getting a 2nd car for DD which wouldn't be for a good 4-5yrs. I'm planning now b/c that's what I like todo. Thanks for any help and #'s!

Intake Spacer($100), aluminum driveshaft ($260), and dyno tune($200-$300) sounds good but I am not that sure about gears yet. I do a lot of highway driving and don't want to lose more money in gas than I have to especially with gas prices always going up. How much hp do you guys think I'd gain with a jlt ram air intake($180?) over my hi-flow K&N filter? Sounds good, any ideas/complaints on the accufab throttle body? And what are your guys ideas on rear lower control arms? I like getting the power to the ground and rear lca are suggested and look to be needed by many.

I know the sticky is good, but it all it really is is a list of great parts that are cheap with no real list of best bang for buck in order.

If someone has a giant list of mods and their gains(Ex: intake spacer 5hp 15torque) I will be glad to see it. Thanks again for the help!

Edit: What areyou's guys thoughts on nitrous too? Wet or dry kit?

It looks like I am going to go the nitrous route for mods next spring. Researched it, it's safer and easier on the engine than a supercharger, easy to install, and a very cheap for power on demand. Bottlefill from empty shouldn't cost more than $50 and will last for 11-12 75 shots easily.A lot of people say 100hp shots are safe, but just to play it even safer I probably will only go with 75hp shots and get a dyno tune for it. Link here on the kit: http://www.rpmoutlet.com/mach1bbkheader.htm . Ideas, suggestions, comments,or thoughts on this?

thats what it's all about is research and finding what you want/need. good luck on the NOS route....im thinking about getting 4.30's installed after the tranny is fixed, or maybe while its getting fixed.

Good luck on the 4.30's.You'regonna need some sticky tires to get traction with those 4.30's.

I don't know if I should go 75 shot or 100 shot still though when I do it. I know I won't be spraying a ton, maybeafew times a months tops. So maybe I will be fine with a 100 shot. Yourkill list keeps growing, that's good to see [8D]. You should get a STIorEvo on thatlist, if you can take anls1, youcan take an STI or EVO.

PS-How did the marauder soundwith exhaust? Ialways liked their looks, it's justsad though that they were made with 4 doors and a giant trunk. That killed their power toweight ratio [&o].

meh, i think i can adjust with the 4.30's.....just have to launch slower, and roll more.

honestly i would do the 100. our 10.1:1 compression allows us to use a little more than the other guys.....yeah i've got a guys number who has a lightly modded (exhaust intercooler and BOV) STI said he wants to try me out one day after i get my tranny fixxed. he also said some of his BMW buddies wanna try me out on the top end[8D]

Damn't, no nitrous b/c if a kaboom happens my life will be screwed over with loans. But since I want a noticable sotp difference with mods next year I am upping my budget to $2k. Don't say save for a supercharger b/c there is a kaboom possibilitythere too. This is what I am thinking so far:
$500 Drag Radials
$400 installed b/c Ican't4.10/4.30 gears
$100 Roy Intake Spacer
$200-$250 Dyno Tune
$260 Aluminum Driveshaft

And I'm not sure what to do with the last $500~
I'm thinking an accufab throttle body, but I here they have had a lot of quality issues with these. Anyone comment?

And how much should the list of mods I have there with the throttle body change my car's acceleration? If you could guess what rwhp I should dyno that would be cool too. Thanks a lot for all the help guys
