Hello everyone, just picked up a black 04 Mach about a week ago. I was wondering, after I start the car it has a squeaking sound coming from the motor area, when I push in the clutch it stops any ideas? Could it be the throwout bearing? Thanks for the help.

I had one do this and it was the throwout bearing. I had another do it and the clutch cable needed adjusting. Could be either

did you happen to buy it from cartech motors?

it's the throw out bearing. BTW while your fixing that or a dealer or whoever is replace the clutch just to make sure hats not burnt out as well

 

Thanks for the help guys. I'll try to get some pics up this weekend. I live in the midwest and we have been dodging tornados and flash floods all week, so the new baby stays in the garage.
