Black Honeycomb Panel or Paint?

Black Honeycomb Panel or Paint?
Should I get the Black Honeycomb Rear Panel or have it painted?
I am weary of having just some plastic stuck on the back of my car with tape... won't water/mildew accumulate behind it?
On the other hand, I would want the paint to match the black plastic spoiler perfectly. Would it have to be sanded down to the metal?
What did you guys do and are you pleased with it?
Thanks!

honeycomb looks better to me. but paint would be cheaper and no you wouldnt have to take it down to metal just wetsand with 1500 or 2000 grit thenuse a prep wipe to remove any left behind stuff andsprayand or clear.

Oh ok i just called my body shop here and it would cost 80 to paint flat black or 90 gloss black with a clearcoat the honeycomb insert is 150-200. paint done at a body shop would be cheaper hands down or if you have any painting skills you could do it for less than 50.00
