Default Nitrous vs SC?

Ok, so am looking into putting either a nitrous kit onto the mach 1 or saving up for a sc. Which would be easier/cheaper to do and which one would keep the engine safer?

cheaper will be the N20 in the short run, but the long run it will be safer for the S/C, and MUCH cheaper depending how much you spray.

FWIW, you can find used 2.1 KB's for around 2100.

nitrous is cheaper, but depending on how much you want to spray, you should also upgrade your fuel system. IMO, nitrous is a waste unless you're going to be seeing time on a track (it does look cool though). A SC will give you power all the time. It will be more work and more $$...and you should also upgrade your cooling system.

Yeah, that's what I was figuring, from what I've read. Well, I guess its savin up for the SC, and upgrades

I think SC is the way to go...after you do, every time you drop the hammer, you'll be a happy camper.

If you don't mind buying used I'd do that. I bought a complete vortech t trim kit for 2k. It was on a car for 400 miles then they wanted more power so went turbo. You just gotta shop around a jump on a deal when you see it.

I would do nitrous if you are going to the track a lot. It will get pretty pricey if you are filling your bottle all the time on the street.

Problem is, I would have to save up for the SC kit...and do not know what all is involved in putting one on. Oh well, guess all I can do is wait lol.
