Default Mach 1 Internals?

Easy question...

Does the Mach1 have the crappy INTERNALS as the rest of the Modulars, or did they upgrade them as well for 03-04? I know they're not the forged like the Cobras but can they handle 500rwhp?

My question is about the internals only.

thanks

They have the same **** internals as the pre 03/04 Cobra's. Forged crank found in the manual versions, cast crank in the autos.

Damn, that sucks a buddy has one he just bought at an auto auction and he was going to sell it to me complete for 2500. For the cost of that and the cost of the internals I might as well just build my 2v.

Where did you get your internals and how much did you spend?

He was going to sell you the complete engine for $2500? That's a pretty decent deal, I'd take it.

I'm at the limit with the stock short block now. It wouldn't make any sense for me to put in a 4v if I just will be stuck at the same numbers. So it would be 2500 plus the cost of internals...Not on my winter budget.

Why not grab the 4v and keep it at the power limit for now. When you get the cash do the internals and up the boost

I see. It's still a pretty darn good deal though.

I'm not going through all that work for the same Hp. This is my year for over 500.
