Default Wheel spacers?

Does anyone here have spacers on their wheels? If so, can I see some pics of what your wheels look like? I am thinking of doing this, as I cannot afford DD rims/wheels.

I wouldn't do it. A good friend that works at a discount tire told me that he has seen far to many bad things happen with them on cars to justify me having them on my car.

Hmm, I have not heard that one before. Guess I will have to do some further investigation.

yea, I was going to get them too. However, you could slap on some 275's on the rears to make the rear tires looks a little wider.

Yeah, but that still leaves the stock rim sticking inside the fender....makes the mach look bad. I want a bada** look.

You can do spacers but make sure that you spend the cash on the hub-centric ones. Otherwise you will have to upgrade your studs. Don't just get the kind that slides on the studs or you will stress them too much.

Yeah, I did my research on that, definitely hub centric style for the machs. A tad more expensive, but worth it in the long run.

mustangwheelspacers . com (no space) is a pretty good site. I know they sell them too but I found them fairly informative. With the stock tires, more than a 1/2 in. spacer may look a lil goofy from the rear. IMO, 1/2 in. w/ 255s would do fine, but 275s look even more fine. Good luck bro.

Does anyone have any pics of mustangs with spacers on? I'd like to get an idea of the different sizes of the spacers....am thinking the Eibach Prospacer 30mm that is shown on the autotv.com website that shows how to install the spacers. I was thinking of leaving the stock tire size, at least for now, unless I can find some cheaper tires (275's).
