Default tranny help

i know this might have been asked but yeah...

my tranny is giving me problems when tryin to shift into second or third...i have the clutch all the way in and sometimes its hard as hell to shift in there....but then there are other times when it will slide right in...

n e idea what it could be or what i could do to fix it??

or am i better off buying another tranny??

it's the 2-3 synchro , i think the fix kit is a few hundred, but once that's in it's as strong as ever. or you could pick up a t3650 (same tranny) for ~500-600

ohh ok...i think im just gonna get the kit....do you have a link where i can order it......and also....since im getting that done should i get something else done to it?? i was reading a thread where someone said something about a billet something lol....

Sometimes mine is notchy into gears, but it is mostly when it it cold. Have you tried changing the fluid and putting in the correct amount since they changed the recommended amount?

What was the company that sold built 3650s?

USMCrebel, recently provided me the same link for virtually the same problem you have. Tell them exactly what your trans is doing, and they will point ya in the right direction. A billett upgrade most likely will come up in the conversation. The part is $119, the labor is alot more...ofcourse. Good luck bro.

Does it grind going into those gears? Does it ever jump out of gear?

NO GRINDING NO JUMPING OUT OF GEAR.... SOMETIMES ITS JUST HARD TO PUT IT IN GEAR.... WHEN I DRIVE I CAN GET IN GEAR WITH SOMEWHAT OF EASE... BUT I GOT A FRIEND THAT OWNS A 03 COBRA AND WHEN I LET HIM DRIVE HE CANT PUT THE GEARS IN AT ALL AND HE'LL GRIND ONCE IN A WHILE...AND HES A GOOD DRIVER....I GUESS IM JUST USED TO THE CAR BEING LIKE THAT RIGHT NOW BUT I WANNA GET THE THING ALL GOOD N READY
