nope they don't weigh much more than we do 3650 IIRC. the vert is ~3760 or something like that.
they have a broad torque curve so that something else to remember. can you beat one ... no doubt at all. I just don't know what the right parts to do it are! and i've never raced one to be honest with you

It'll take more than a set of 4.10s, tune, and intake spacer to take down a properly driven 03-04 Cobra. From a dead stop, the Mach stands a chance to get out front (briefly) due to the different rear axles, but once that Termi regains traction, it'll commence to walking down a Mach with those mods well before the 1/4 mile rolls up. Put this way, SVT has the same motor, except with an Eaton sitting on top (I know ya'll already knew that, just saying) so IMO, thats a shat load of power to make up for.

here is the parts i think you'll need to run with a termie

3.90's ( 250 you'll see why in a minute)
intake spacer (100 RoyC)
CAI (250)
LT's (~400-700)
Mid pipe(79-300)
cat back (600)
GT cam's (1200)
ported/Polished heads (2k NazMan)
light weight flywheel
carbon fiber DS (1200 but only weighs a few lbs)
DR's (300-xxx)
MGW short throw (269)
N20 150 shot (500)

***MOST IMPORTANT MOD IS YOU***

So for about 7500 you can kill it with above combo, or you could do a turbo/Sc setup for around 5-7k and easily do it....

those parts should put you around 330rwhp-350rwhp with a VERY broad tq range...but still down 40-50rwhp against a stock terminator... then you spray him and it's in your favor

Rebel, whats the deal on those GT cams, lift, duration, gain, etc?
I've heard mixed reviews about NazMan's port/polished heads...kinda up in the air on that one.

That mod list ought to more than take care of a stock Cobra, in fact I think I'll go ahead and adopt that list as my personal modding goal, lol!

I believe that is a bit overkill to beat a stock termie! But if you wanna fork over the cheese for all that i will surely put it on my car and let you know how it turns out! Hell i'll even let ya drive it Where can i get a Roy's spacer? And do they really work?

My Mach was only 3322 lbs without driver. That was a 1/4 tank of gas.

yeah, it might be over kill, but that's the way i like it.
you can get Roy's spacer from royC (he's on here and posts some time) yes they add torque and HP through out your operating RPM range due to the fuel being able to atomize with more ease and have a better air/fuel mixture. I would get one, but I might be moving again, so im back to broke on the car fund, and i'm busy building a 2.3l turbo classic.

jmac...i lived in boston for a year...i don't think they make anything fat up there....you yankee's and your crazy idea of walking everywhere
